Lineage Matthew's and the story of 3 cats.

Sharon, before the Gospel, read the story of the husband who, deaf to his wife's sharing her faith in Jesus for many years, never went with her to the midnight service. This year again at home, he saw 3 cats walking in the snow; concerned for their survival he called them from the front door to come in from the cold. They ran! As he mused on how they might have responded if he too had been a cat, he realised the truth of his wife's sharing. Sharon expands on this in her Christmas eve sermon on Matthew 1 1-25
