YOUTH & CHILDREN @ OAKLEIGH ANGLICAN CHURCH
FRIDAY NIGHT FUN!
Friday night fun is all about providing an environment where children and youth can build healthy relationships, strong values and explore faith - all while still having fun!
We run two separate age appropriate programs that come together for a shared meal and community. 4.30-6pm: GO WILD: OAC STYLE
Go Wild is our new childrens program for Grades 1-4. This program aims to build healthy relationships and develop strong values. The values taught in Go Wild are Christian values from the Bible and include things like: trustworthiness, respect, cooperation, responsibility, kindness and forgiveness. We aim to encourage these through fun activities like drama, craft, role play, story telling and awesome games! 6-8pm: MUCKRAKERS
Muckrakers runs on Friday nights and is for kids in year 5 to year 8 at school. This group is focused on community building with a small teaching component. Like the name Muckrakers seeks to expose the lies that are present within society and critique them with biblical ideas. This is a great group for kids who want to explore their faith or aren't sure if they even have a faith!
Cost for both programs is $5 and includes dinner.
Both programs are held on our Holy Trinity Site, 812 Warrigal Rd, East Malvern 3145SENSATIONAL SUNDAY

Sunday afternoon is all about the older youth:CHRIST RISEN AND NOW KING
Christ Risen and Now King or CRANK caters for the older kids that are too old to attend Muckrakers. Year 9 to young adult is the normal age for a Crank group. The focus of the group is far more in depth teaching (1 Hour) with a meal and hang out time.
